Workshop – Beyond the Goldfish Bowl: communicating research creatively

Harriet Hunt has been running a series of workshops on the creative communication of research. The final workshop, with the excellent Dan Porter of Scriberia (Scriberia created the graphics for the Handbook on Green Social Prescribing), has places available.

The online workshop, delivered via Zoom, is aimed at PhD/Masters researchers, research associates and research fellows but open to everyone.

The priority is simplicity. Attendees will leave equipped with practical skills, knowledge of effective collaboration, and strategies for navigating constraints. (Workshops #1 and 2 have taken place and recordings will be available shortly).

Workshop #3: Into the wild. Presenter: Dan Porter, Co-founder of Scriberia. Wednesday 22nd May 10.30 – 12pm. Book for *free* via Eventbrite here.

Soon Harriet will produce a free-to-download workbook which will have the workshop summaries, references, and lots of resources for further exploring creative routes to communicating research as well as links to creatives and organisations active in this area. The workshops are being recorded and will be hosted on the ECEHH webiste.

This activity is a Researcher-led Initiative that has been funded by the University of Exeter Researcher Development and Research Culture team.
