Literature X Ecology

The Literature X Ecology series presents conversations with leading contemporary poets whose work intersects with ecological thinking. The programme is part of a collaboration between RENEW and the Biodiversity and People Network and is funded by the B&PN as part of the network’s annual cross-disciplinary programme of events. The team have two upcoming events:

On Thursday 11 April, 7PM BST / 11AM PST, the poet Brenda Hillman will talk about her writing to date, such as her recent collection In a Few Minutes Before Later (2022) and Extra Hidden Life, among the Days (2018) in relation to ecology and ecological poetics. On Thursday 7 March, 7PM GMT / 11AM PST, the poet Forrest Gander will talk about his writing to date, such as his recent collection Twice Alive (2021) in relation to ecology and ecological poetics. Visit the series eventbright page for more information on Forrest and his poetry, and for booking.
